A very rare Christmas LP as a public service from the U.S. Post Office Department. Organized in 1954 as a non-profit singing group with all the proceeds going to charity, eighteen letter carriers, six postal clerks and one retired postal clerk, gather together to bring you a Christmas program that will delight all. The U.S. Post Office produced the program for the purpose of persuading the public to SHOP EARLY and MAIL EARLY. The program was initiated by J. Edward Day, then the Postmaster General.
